- Take the Tohoku Expressway from Fukushima Nishi I.C. (interchange). Change to the Ban’etsu Expressway via the Koriyama JCT (junction) and exit the expressway at Aizuwakamatsu I.C.

Taking National Roads, it takes around 2 hours 40 minutes to drive between Iwaki City and Aizu-Wakamatsu City. Due to the location of Iwaki City, taking the expressways would not shorten this journey.
