There are 3 main routes to get to Fukushima Station from Narita Airport, as shown in the illustration below:

1) Airport Bus + Shinkansen
Take an airport bus from Narita Airport to Tokyo Station, and from there take the Tohoku Shinkansen to Fukushima Station or Koriyama Station.
- There are a number of companies that run buses from Narita Airport. Two of the cheapest ones are Keisei Bus and Access Narita bus, which cost close to 1000 yen per way per person.
- You don’t need to reserve these buses, but there is a first-come, first-served approach.
- There’s an option to reserve seats online (check the websites above).
- From Tokyo Station, take the JR Tohoku Shinkansen to Fukushima Station or Koriyama Station.

2) Keisei Skyliner + Shinkansen
Take the Keisei Skyline train from Narita Airport to Ueno Station. From Ueno Station, take the Shinkansen to Fukushima Station/ Koriyama Station.
- The quickest way to get to Ueno Station from Narita Airport is to take the Keisei Skyliner train.
- This takes your to Keisei Ueno Station (a 5-10 minute walk from JR Ueno Station) in under 45 minutes for ¥2,470 yen one way. You can buy Keisei Skyliner tickets online in advance.
- If you aren’t in a rush, you can take the Keisei Main Line train instead of the Skyliner.
- This Limited Express trains (departing from Track 2 and 3 at Narita Airport stations) will get you to Keisei Ueno Station in 80-90 minutes.
- Make sure to board a train that terminates at Keisei-Ueno to avoid having to transfer trains at Nippori Station.
- Taking the Keisei Main Line costs just ¥1,030.
- From Ueno Station, take the Tohoku Shinkansen to Fukushima Station or Koriyama Station.

You may have heard of the Narita Express train from Narita Airport to Tokyo Station. This train is also a fair option, but the Narita Express platform at Tokyo Station is far from the JR Tohoku Shinkansen platform.
3) Direct Expressway Bus
The cheapest way to get between Narita Airport and Fukushima is to go via expressway bus.
- The expressway bus runs two times a day between Fukushima Station and Narita Airport (stopping at Koriyama Station).
- You don’t need to reserve a seat on the way from Narita Airport to Fukushima Station or Koriyama Station, but on the journey to Narita Airport, it is advised to reserve a seat in advance.
